Consider this the month of recaps. I'm basically drowning in photos and stories that I've been wanting to share at the moment, so now we're going to start doing something about it. In no logical order at all. Starting with Christmas, because that seemed easiest.

Pie time! We actually made a couple of new pies this year instead of our usuals - quite an exciting turn of events at the Brown house. I have photos and recipes that I'm planning to share another day [for my own personal reference, mostly], but for now here's a picture of pie topped with a delightful amount of vanilla ice cream. Because when it comes to pie, ice cream totally wins out over whipped cream. Every time.
