Insert all the celebratory emojis here, because today marks my last regular day of class as a medical student! I still have another neuro exam, a miniboard, and an OSCE to get through [not to mention Step 1], but after that it's clinical, all the time.
Unless I get to fourth year and decide to take the Step 2 pharm review course as one of my elective blocks. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

There is a part of me that kind of really hates outfit posts because it's usually difficult to come up with some accompanying text that doesn't sound completely asinine [to me, at least]. There's only so many times you can read I WORE THIS BECAUSE I LIKE IT before you start to feel somewhat disenchanted with the whole process.
Anyway. This is an outfit from last Wednesday, when we did an interprofessional clinical skills training with the standardized patients on suicide. This is such a super important topic, and not something the med students really get much exposure to, unfortunately. My nursing student partner had to handle most of our SP interview because I just looked at her wide-eyed every time it was my turn to speak! I still left feeling like I won't know what to say when in the room with a patient expressing suicidal ideation, so...I guess I'll see what happens with next week's OSCE, haha.
