I'm like 90% certain I've used this post title on something before, but whatevs. Given the embellishment of my dress and my shoes, it fits here as well.
I really love the vaguely cropped, boxy silhouette of this dress. I keep seeing this shape popping up in various styles (tops, dresses, etc.) and loving it, but finding that it doesn't quite work on my figure [read - small waist, large hips]. But then this dress came along and fed my gingham obsession, and I found I couldn't resist. And that little tie at the waist! What a fun little detail! I got, like, 3 compliments while waiting for the bathroom this morning, so you know it's a winner. Bathroom line compliments are obviously the ultimate currency.
