I recognize that, as we're already a few days into November, Frocktober is officially, but we have one last post to wrap up the month - and it's a real treat! Check out my sweet friend Sarah looking like a total babe in some leopard print! I love me a good wrap dress, and this is such a fun take on a classic shape.
Hi Lovely Friend readers! I'm Sarah, Katiy's fangirl blogger at Shades of Sarah sharing one of my favorite dresses in honor of Frocktober!
Leopard print may not be the "it" print this fall, but there's still something classic about it, especially when done right. Personally, I think this more graphic leopard print wrap dress is close to perfect. I feel like a million dollars when I put it on, but the truth is, this dress is part of last winter's Penny Chic collection at Walmart. Sometimes, the truth doesn't have to hurt your wallet.
This week is our Indian summer in Philadelphia (thank goodness), so this dress is still totally wearable without tights thanks to the long sleeves. Sometimes I'll push the sleeves up to dress down the look. It also works with ankle boots and tights when it gets colder, so +1, dress. As for the accessories, I keep them simple because the print is so fun and bold. A simple gold necklace and earrings are all I need.
P.S. While writing this post, I discovered a stain on my dress that outlasted my Tide to-Go pen. So unfortunate, but here's hoping the print will help camouflage it?
