Med school hit me somewhat hard with clinical things last week, so here's outfit 3 of 3 involving professional dress. Tuesday I was out on in the community at my LEAP clinic, Wednesday was practicing performing a neuro exam on an SP, and Friday was a patient simulation lab about meningitis. Fun times, that neuro module.
The clinical skills schedule is actually super weird for this module, for whatever reason. Normally our clinical schedule is broken up into 3 week blocks - 1 skills activity, 1 SP exam, and 1 week at LEAP. For this module, the powers that be decided to double up clinical skills for certain weeks and leave others completely empty [save for the LEAP schedule, which is not controlled by the module directors]. That probably doesn't make much sense when written out, but it's something for us to puzzle over as we navigate the rest of the semester, I guess.
Anyway, I wanted to share this outfit because I love the vibrant red hue of this top, and especially the way it contrasts with my dark everything else. I don't normally wear much in the way of jewelry [especially long jewelry] during clinical encounters, but seeing as this was worn to a sim lab that didn't involve much in the way of actually doing work, and more just standing around talking out a treatment plan with my teammates, I figured it was an acceptable occasion for little more accessorizing.
