Happy Sunday! I'm taking advantage of my free weekend in between clerkships to tear my way through Cursed Child after having to resist the lure of the book all week in order to study. I finished part one last night before making myself put the book down and get some sleep and OH MY GOD. The story is so good, although I keep finding myself wishing it were a full-fledge novel instead of a script for a play because I am severely lacking in JK Rowling's beautiful prose and talent for imagery-laden detail. I need more!
Anyway. On to less fangirl-ish things.
- A favorite new-to-me blog - Triple Shot of Beauty. [thanks for leaving a comment and helping me find you, Haley!]
- This week in photography tips - how to gather and layer props. One of those areas where I really lack creativity, and thus something I tend to steer away from.
- Caroline's "take one, pass it on" remix-challenge-thing that she's been doing this month sounds like so much fun! I miss the days when wardrobe challenges like 30x30 were all the rage...it feels like so long ago! Blogging is a weird thing.
- Where to find the best views in Paris - because sometimes I just like to cause myself pain. #francophileproblems
- What your favorite flavor of LaCroix says about you - I find it impossible to pick a favorite, but there are definite shades of truth attached to my top picks, haha. Like coconut. Coconut speaks the truth.
- This marble shelf DIY would be such a fun project for people who can manage to do things like hang shelves.
- Tips for a perfect cat eye - because cat eye liner is life.
- A little wishlist: this pretty striped pencil skirt [recently seen on Fran] | these classic jeans in what feels like the perfect color | this beautiful camera bag | this fun printed cardigan | this simple navy dress
- And a song for the weekend. [I started a new Lumineers Pandora station recently and it is honestly giving me life right now. So perfect for this end-of-summer mood I've been in.]
