Happy first test weekend of the year, everyone! Not that that's something to celebrate, but here we are anyway. Hopefully I'm not shooting myself in the foot by feeling like I'm reasonably well prepared on the material in this test block; it's been mostly GI tract pathology and a bit of anatomy, and those are two subjects that I tend to comprehend fairly well.
- What being left-handed says about your personality - I've gotten to know quite a few lefties through med school in particular, and several of these points are pretty applicable.
- Awesome animated ladies who AREN'T Disney princesses - MS. FRIZZLE ALL THE WAY. I'm honestly still a little upset that I can't be the Frizz when I grow up.
- The loveliest little open letter to some teenage girls at the pool. Because who doesn't love stories about the nicer side of humanity?
- Laura's post about being on night float at the hospital was a particularly interesting read - Boyfriend's had to do a couple of night float shifts this month, so it's fun to get another perspective on the experience.
- United states of emoji - Which state uses which emoji the most? [Alabama's is downright disappointing, it's so predictable #notide]
- Seriously awesome socks. [these ones are totally made for Nicole, right?]
- A little wishlist: this girly floral blouse | this perfectly autumn-y plaid shirtdress | these colorful leggings | these heart print loafers | this sweet striped weekender bag
- And a song for the weekend.
