I'm teaming up with my lovely friend Kimi today as part of a fun little series she's running on her blog this week!  We're sharing two different ways to style our windowpane skirts from Loft.

As it is currently Frocktober, I have, of course, opted to wear mine coupled with a dress I bought from Ruche last year.  I like the contrast of the burnt orange with the black and white of this skirt [at last, I've broken out of my blue styling rut!]; the slight pintucked detailing on the bodice of the dress also lends itself really well to functioning as a blouse.  And then of course throw in some ankle booties, because I am nothing without my ankle boots.

In comparison, here's Kimi:

I love the slightly more feminine combination of colors she's working with!  The blush pink with that burgundy-ish hat?  Perfect.  When you get a chance, you definitely need to head over to her blog to check out her full post!  And then the rest of this "two bloggers" series while you're at it.
