Something about this dress really has me wanting to channel my inner Betty Draper. There's a particularly '50s/early '60s sensibility to it...and I've probably binge watched Mad Men a few too many times.

I found this sundress over the summer, and proceeded to stalk Boden's website and emails for a solid month before it finally went on sale - at which point I promptly snapped it up, obviously. I love the colors and the shape and the print of this dress. It's a little bit gingham-y, but also a little bit not, and it treads this fine line between being casual and slightly dressy [per my standards, at least, although admittedly my idea of casual is less so than that of the average person]. Anyway. I love it. I debated pairing this with a white button down top today for a bit of a different look [à la Julia Roberts at the 2014 Golden Globes - I really love this look and this silhouette] but ultimately decided to take a simpler and slightly less warm direction...which was a good choice, as I was roasting in today's heat even without actual sleeves. Bah humbug, Mobile.
