I love the look of a dress layered over a collared shirt. I love it so much.
My tastes definitely tend to err on the feminine preppy side of the style spectrum. I love button up shirts and plaid everything and tailored dresses and oxford shoes [which is probably how I've earned myself a reputation for always looking somewhat overdressed]. I love the look of layering just about anything over a collared shirt. I love combining a slightly more masculine shoe with a fairly girly outfit. And - unrelated - I really love loose curls in my hair.
