Some of my absolute favorite things to shop for [or window shop for, as the case may be] are photography-related. I am absolutely spoiled in that my parents are usually amenable to me adding some piece of gear or other to my Christmas list every year - often something small, like a new camera strap or a remote release, but also larger things like lenses have appeared under the tree on occasion [have I mentioned recently that my parents are the best?]. This year I'm really hoping for a new tripod to replace the one that broke in my car accident this summer, and that I've taped back together in order to make it semi-functional over the past few months. Yeah. That situation could be better.
Anyway, as advertisements have been pouring into my inbox over the past couple of days, I figured I'd throw together a little round-up of notable sales. These are all shops that I patronize and products that I love, so rest assured that I'm not trying to throw random crap your way.
ONA
Up to 20% off the entire ONA collection! No code needed. I own and love the Palma bag and the Lima strap [shown above], and while this sale isn't exactly a huge reduction in price, you can consider this a very worthwhile investment. These are quality products that will protect your gear for years to come.
Clickin' Moms
Don't let the name fool you - Clickin' Moms is not just for "momtographers". This is a fantastic forum site and learning community for both beginners and experienced photographers alike. They currently have two pretty great promotions running:
- 40% off membership to the CM forums [SO WORTH IT if you're interested in learning more about photography, in my opinion. I've been a member for years and I've gotten so much out of the resources!] with code 2015FRIDAY40
- $50 off $100+ purchase in the CM store with code FRIDAY50 [this one actually ends today, so it's great for any night owls out there!]. The store is full of both instructional material and random little gifts and knickknacks, in addition to CM's magazine Click, so it's a really great place to search for gifts for your photographer friends.
Photography Concentrate
All tutorials are half off! No code needed. I previously talked in some detail about Photography Concentrate's tutorials, but to reiterate - both Extremely Essential Camera Skills and Super Photo Editing Skills would make great holiday gifts. The former is the perfect accessory to a new camera, whereas the latter would go great paired with a copy of Lightroom.
Artifact Uprising
Photo book // Fine art prints // Everyday cards
Artifact Uprising is never really one for great sales, but they do make absolutely beautiful products. I've purchased both the square prints [great for showing off your favorite Instagram snaps!] and the signature art prints in the past, and absolutely love the quality of the printing and the paper both.
Nikon products
There are so many places to shop when it comes to actual camera gear that it can make your head spin and spin and spin and never stop, so I'm not going to go into too much detail on that front...especially considering how many brands there are available. I'm a long-time Nikon devotee, so that's what I know and what I'm familiar with and, above all, what I tend to pay attention to. I don't want to go too far down the rabbit hole here, but I did notice a few rebates and discounts on NIkon products that seemed worth highlighting.

Important note: These are linked to Amazon [because it's built into Squarespace!], but obviously a lot of the same deals are going to be available through other stores like Adorama and B&H as well, as they're discounts and rebates offered by the manufacturers themselves.
